For the discussion of the Fishing Industry. Once the mainstay of the economy of Clatsop County, finding its heyday in the dozens of cannaries dotting the shores and hundreds of fishing boats riding above (and sometimes sinking below) the waves of the mighty Columbia River and the Pacific Ocean outside of its mouth, the Fishing industry has plunged into a downward spiral. Can we, should we and how can we work together to stop this?
